Skyrim: Special Edition isn't an intense game to run, but it still needs a dedicated GPU of some sort. From $935 at Lenovo Making the right choice Why is everything so dark? Not all of us like to have invisible light spirits casting copious amounts of sourceless light everyplace :PIf you want a gaming laptop with a 17-inch display, the Legion Y540 from Lenovo is a cracking laptop with a massive 17.3-inch screen, NVIDIA GTX 1650, or GTX 1660 Ti GPU, and decent enough Intel processors that allow you to hop in-game and enjoy a stable, solid-looking gaming experience. Your computer much exceeds the power of my own (i5 4690k, HD 7950), but I would certainly give it a try if say, lighting effects would extend outside the uGrids range. Since the game was designed with the assumption this value would be set to 5, pushing it higher tends to corrupt the save over time, breaking quests and so on (it's great for pretty screenshots, but not a complete playthrough). I am wondering if you ENB tweak is able to push past the usual detailed load on distance limits? For example, you can see pretty clearly in this shot where the detailed LOD range ends, and as far as I know, the only way to extend this is through the uGridsToLoad setting, which also controls the range in which scripts are executed.
